K-9 Guard is unique in its approach to dog training. Instead of training the dog, K-9 Guard works on training the owners on how to train the dog, as well as help to establish clear lines of communication between the dog and the owner. Establishing clear communication with the dog, and understanding the dog's physical, and social behavior is the most fundamental of the lessons to learn.

Training the owners to train the dog is far more effective, it empowers the owner to work with the dog well beyond the classes, as well as allows the owner dog relationship to grow because the owner has been taught an effective communication mechanism.

 K-9 Guard offers convenient day time or evening classes. We offer a shaded fenced training ground as well as an indoor training area for winter months and inclement weather. We offer private one on one lessons at our location or at  your home. We also offer small group classes.
